On the 15 of December 2016 In Vilnius, The Government of the Republic of Lithuania, was held the Lithuanian printing industry awards which was organized by the association of Lithuanian printing industries. This association unites traditional printing industry companies, which are  modern and innovative: the latest technology is used to print books, newspapers, magazines, commercial printing, manufacture of packaging for food and beverage, chemical, pharmaceutical and other sectors, print labels and other products in printing industry.

Event participants were welcomed and awarded by Culture patron Ramunas Karbauskis, Minister of Economy Mindaugas Sinkevicius, Lithuanian President's Chief advisor for Culture Marija Dautartaite, Chancellor of Ministry of Education and Science Tomas Daukantas, President of association of Lithuanian printing industries Arturas Karosas.

The representers of companies which creates printed matter every day: books, magazines, newspapers, packaging, labels, 3D products were honored at the awards ceremony.

Nomination for the most environmentally friendly printing company went to printing house DRUKA.
